Dear SAG members,
Over 20 students representing six different professions from City and QM have become members the SAG. This makes the SAG an exciting forum to meet fellow students from Speech and Language, Midwifery, Dentistry, Radiography, Medicine and Nursing.
Thank you for volunteering yourselves as a student advisor for the CETL for clinical and communication skills. We are very much looking forward to meeting you and hearing your suggestions, ideas and opinions. As a representative of one of the six professions your voice will really count in that it will be instrumental in shaping the CETL from the student perspective in the years to come.
Perhaps you have a preference about what this group could be called?
Student Advisory Group shortens to 'SAG'! Not such an uplifting name but easy to remember. If you have any ideas around this please visit the student advisory group blog at www.cetl.org.uk and voice them. (you can post a message via email@example.com).
Throughout the next year there will be many exciting projects which you will be invited to take part in. The first of which will take place in July.
You are invited to help produce a virtual tour of the clinical skills labs. A professional film production team will be employed to work with the SAG members to produce a very short documentary type film. The aim of this project is to create a virtual document of all our resources and facilities at the clinical skills centre. It is important to us that this project is student led so many of the most important decisions in how to produce the film will be handed over to the SAG and the film makers, CETL will facilitate and support this process.
We will contact you about this project again around the 21st June.
Until then, if you would like to register your interest in getting involved, or voice your ideas/suggestions in general please feel free to post a comment on your new blog via firstname.lastname@example.org or if you would like more information call Cherry on 020 7882 2067 or email email@example.com

I am a dental student interested in providing my opinion from the student perspective. I think SAG is easy to remember but I think its difficult to come up with a name until we have more idea what being in the group involves so maybe it might be better to wait till we have all met up. I am very interested in assisting in the video being made so please keep me updated.
